DIRector career

As an artist, I see my career as a learning process. After finishing every project, I raise my expectations for the quality, intricacy, professionalism and depth of my work to force myself to reach greater heights. Since I started making movies in 2021, the effort I poured into my craft as been exponential and I intend only to go higher from here.

In 2023, I will finally be hosting the premiere to my 6th and 7th short films. My latest project stars a "Gémeaux" prize winning actress : Léanne Désilets. A shorter cut of this same project was made and submitted to a film festival where it won the prizes of "Best Director" as well as "Best Fiction". The best is yet to come, I have ambitious plans for the following years.

ELECTRIC LOVE

"A Man and a Lamp, a Tragic Love Story.."

This happens to be my very first cinematographic project. It was realized with no budget and under 13 hours for a 24 hours film competition.

KLUDGE

"Film centered around the only thing one does not have control over : Death".

As a second project, I decided to approach this new piece with a more deep perspective on things. The main aspects I wanted to work on were : light, framing and pacing.

Rouge Moeurs

"An abstract cinematographic alternative take on addictions & vices."

"Rouge Moeurs" was created with the idea of a visual and graphical poem. This project was a turning point in my cinematic approach as I start to understand the possibilities and the value of having a good solid concept, coloring and framing that convey the intention of the cinematographer through the piece.

VERT TORpeur

"An abstract short film that sheds light on the bad habits of the society in which we evolve, but in a dark satiric & cynical way." This project challenged me in every single aspects of its creation. It was the very first time I had support and professional equipment on set. I remain to this day very proud of this creation.

"An open ended letter in the form of an essay sharing a personal perspective on matter that affects, will affect, or affected you : Growing up. Where is the line that differentiates teenage hood from adulthood ?" In this piece, I share my experience as a young adult as I make connection with the footage of my dad's teenage years...
